Description
Black and white photograph of nineteen teenaged girls and four adults posed for their all-star team photograph for the Mission de Oro Bobby Sox of Mission Viejo, California. The girls are wearing their softball uniform of short-sleeved, buttoned-front, white, collared shirts with a Bobby Sox insignia on the front and numbers on the sleeve, baseball caps, shorts, knee-socks, and cleats. The adults are wearing white pants and polo shirts with the Bobby Sox insignia. The girls are on the lawn of a park in three rows with the back row standing, middle row on their knees, and front row sitting on the lawn. The girls in the front row are propping up a banner that reads "Mission de Oro Bobby Sox, Mission Viejo, California." The banner also has a simple drawing of a mission tower. On the back of the photograph is stamped "The Association, 711-A #12 17th Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92626, (714) 645-3840, Job #, Neg.#." Written in pencil in the upper left corner of the back is "10-I, MVR 10/77" and "P20060508.29" in ink in the lower right corner.
