Description
Color slide of an overhead photograph of a single cyclist being filmed during the Men's Cycling Road Race of the 1984 Summer Olympic Games. The photographer is on the back of a motorcycle which is being driven in front of and to the left of the cyclist. The photographer is leaning down towards the street and holding his camera at such a low position that the lense is angled up towards the cyclist's face. There are spectators standing along one side of the racecourse; one of them is waving a large '76 American flag. Behind the spectators, at the top portion of the photograph, is a large tree, Lake Mission Viejo, a small street, and a small slope leading up to some houses. The photograph also depicts the hay bales and white meshed fencing that line the racecourse. Along one side of the slide is "camjl 230" written in pencil. Along the other side of the slide is a label with "84-008, Frame 212" typed on it; this label is covering red typescript that reads "13, Jul84H9."
