Irvine House on Myford Road built by C. E. French. James Irvine doubled the size in 1892 to 30 rooms, there was a fire in 1968. This image of the Irvine home was taken in 1962 prior to the fire. Authors notes on Irvine home: 1876 Irvine bought out his partners for 126,000. In 1914, Irvine Tower christened Irvine - used to be a whistle stop in 1887 with 9 bean warehouses.
