Description
The Rev. Aloysius V. Raggio of Santa Clara University was a beloved priest in the town of Santa Clara. He said masses at St. Clare's Church and also served as a chaplain at Agnew State Hospital. St. Clare's Gate was erected in his honor. From the Family Collection of Michaela Jennings of Santa Clara. Michaela is the grandaughter of Thomas Monahan, who once was a Mayor and a well-known undertaker in San Jose.
