Description
On front of photo: "Dry yard below home of Mr. A.P. Chrisman operated by Crandall and Rice." On back: Drying works at 11 a.m. Capacity 25 tons per day of prunes. Chrisman orchard."
There is an advertisement glued to the back of this photograph. Verbiage on the ad is as follows: "F.W. Crandall. W.F. Rice. Big Orchard Drying Establishment, Crandall & Rice, Proprietors. Dealers in Green & Dried Fruits. Contractors for Drying. Lock Box 131. Los Gatos, Cal. 188__."
