Description
The Hikers Inn at Throckmorton Avenue and Olive Streets was owned by Mr. and Mrs. Hack. The Inn is only partially visible behind some trees. There are stairs on the near corner of the building leading up to a porch that runs the entire length of one side of the house. There is a gateway entrance along the sidewalk that is surrounded on both sides by a small hedge. The gateway consists of two wooden posts that are connected by a crossbar above the entrance and two more wooden planks at the top that join together in the middle and form an upside down v shape at the top. Between the crossbar and the inverted v at the top of the gateway is a sign that probably says "Hikers Inn" but is unreadable in the photo. An American flag is attached to one post near the top. An unidentified man wearing a hat, perhaps Mr. Hack? is leaning against one of the posts in the gateway. Another unidentified person, perhaps Mrs. Hack, is standing on the porch behind a table that may contain food, but it
