Accession number: P263 East view of Anaheim taken from the tower of the old Central School; image shows two-story Planters Hotel located at the northwest corner of Center Street and Los Angeles Street (now Anaheim Blvd.) in center of photo among surrounding Anaheim houses and businesses; originally constructed by John Fischer in 1865, burned down in 1871; the second structure was also lost to fire in 1890; two figures are visible in background center walking down a dirt road.
