Bird informs Caffrey that Clarence E. Pickett has been appointed to chair a committee that will handle matters related to student relocation and that a meeting has been called in Chicago on May 29. Bird writes, "I should like to defer any action that I might take in circulating this or that document until this committee has convened and entered into its authority and program."
