Inscription inside album of photographs of Big Basin taken by Andrew P. Hill and compiled by W. W. Richards. "1900 - 1927. This album is presented to the Sempervirens Club of California at their twenty seventh reunion, California Redwood Park, Big Basin, Santa Clara County. Where: Twenty seven years ago, eight charter members formed the club for the purpose of saving and preserving this magnificient grove of Sequoia Sempervirens trees, for posterity, and the glory of California. These beautiful photographs were all taken by our fellow member, and dear friend, Andrew P. Hill, Father of Sempervirens Club. W. W. Richards, a Charter Member."
