Description
Glass plate, view negative, box 35, negative 556 Accession number: JH048 View of the Beebe-Weisel Co., located in the S. Kraemer Building located at 112 East Center Street (now Lincoln Ave.); the store sold agricultural implements, wagons, automobiles and supplies and was owned by Bird V. Beebe, pres. and P.J. Weisel, Secy. & tres. (per 1911 directory); image shows the front facade of the two-story, brick building; "S. KRAEMER BUILDING" is inscribed along the top of the bulding and "BEEBE-WEISEL Co." is on the sign above the first story; also visible at the curb are six hitching posts and one bicycle; visible at upper, left is damage to the original glass plate negative.
