Description
Color slide of a bicycle motocross racetrack during a motocross bike race in Mission Viejo, California. The motocross race was one of several bike races during the Great Bike Race of 1973, a Mission Viejo Recreation Center event. The participants in this race are children. The racetrack has hay bales and tires that designate the course. There are also barrels with light-posts in them on the track. In the foreground is a wooden stage with steps leading up to it. On the right side of the photograph, there is a man waving the winner's flag as two children cross the finish line. There are also spectators of all ages along the course. There is a label on the slide frame that reads "73-025, Frame 005."
