Orange Public Library, Carnegie building, 407 East Chapman Avenue, Orange, California, 1909. Postcard images shows corner view looking northeast of the library building from across Chapman Avenue. Two children are visible standing at the top of the entry steps. The Carnegie Library, designed by architect Cornelius B. Bradshaw (d. 1932), opened in 1908 and was demolished in 1961. Postcard printed along top with "Public Library, Orange, Cal." Postcard printed on reverse with "PUBLISHED BY THE POLYCHROME CO., SAN FRANCISCO, CAL." and "Published for K. E. Watson, Orange, Cal." Cancelled with "ORANGE CAL 25 OCT 1909." Correspondence addressed to Mr. H. Franzen Sr. of Riverside, California, is written in German. Postcard Color 8.7 x 13.9 cm
