Description: House built and owned by Franck and Sophia Beck at 431 East Chapman Avenue looking northeast, image shows a two-story craftsman style house with clapboard siding and multigabled roofline. Front door has mullioned plate glass windows and is flanked by side lites. Two large three- part transomed picture windows flank the front entrance. An ornamental brick chimney is located on the west side of the house by the driveway. By the front steps is sign for "Beck & Son Construction." The house was purchased by Samuel B. and Lillian Edwards in 1922. The Edwards are not listed at this address until the 1924 city directory.
