Black-and-white photograph of a barbecue for the Santa Clara County Native Sons & Daughters of the Golden West. This barbecue in honor of Native Californians in Santa Clara County was held at the home of Johnie Corotto in on 560 N. First St. in San Jose. Among those in attendance Thomas Monahan, active in San Jose local politics and a San Jose undertaker. From the Family Collection of Michaela Jennings of Santa Clara. Michaela is the grandaughter of Thomas Monahan, who once was a Mayor and a well-known undertaker in San Jose.
