Description
Black and white photograph of six teenaged girls, one younger boy, and one adult woman standing in front of the "Baubles, Bangles and Beads" Rose Parade float from Mission Viejo in 1980. The teenaged girls and boy are dressed in "Kismet" themed costumes, and the adult woman is wearing a jacket with the Mission Viejo logo and is holding a Tournament of Roses banner. Most of the people in the photograph are also holding up their hand with their index finger pointed up signifying "number one," since the float won the Sweepstakes Award for the most beautiful float. In the bottom margin of the photograph, various numbers are written in ink such as "4 7/8," "3C," "60.5," "2x4," and "60%" which is crossed out.
