Description
Atwood acknowledges the receipt of Bird's letters to him and to President Davidson of Knox College (see Bird's letters Dbase #067 and Dbase #068, respectively). He expresses a desire to "seek more data regarding the young man in question [John Nishiyama] that we may be sure his coming to us would be reasonably happy for him as well as fair to us."
