Description
Toriumi writes about her new life at the Santa Anita Assembly Center. "My emotions about life here are rather mixed and confused." She talks about how impressed with director Mr. Chapman she is and with the arrangement for religious services. Toriumi also describes how much time residents must spend walking to various places and waiting. "There are a lot of headaches - the chief one I can see is the loss of family spirit with all that it implies."
