Description
First dahlia show on the Peninsula, held at the San Mateo Public Library in September, 1913. The famous Dahlia Show held is San Francisco each year was an outgrowth\ of this first show. Left to right: Mrs. Mazalia McCarthy, Mrs. Eugenie McClellan, Charles AM. Morse, Miss Inez Crawford, City Librarian, and Mrs. A.M. Morse. Photo taken in the Carnegie Library building (1906- 1968) at 129 Second Avenue.
