"1919. L.C. Brand's 'run-about' as he called it, the Mono-Eagle"--Handwritten caption on verso. Ernest Robinson is sitting in the pilot's seat, and Mary Miles Minter is standing on the side of the plane. The plane is parked in front of the hangar. The white hangar, with minarets, is meant to resemble Brand's home, El Miradero.
