Manley Powell (on left), mechanic, and Herbert Johnson (on right) standing next to Orange Fire Station dedication plaque, Orange, California, 1950. Fire station, located at 153 North Olive, was used by the fire department from November, 1935 through 1968. The plaque reads "ORANGE FIRE STATION - ERECTED A.D. 1935 - COUNCILMEN E.M. CHAPMAN - A.H. HEIM - CAL D. LESTER - J.E. RILEY - T.H. ELIJAH, CLERK - AL TOMBLIN, FIRE CHIEF - F.S. ZALE (?), ARCHITECT, JAMES AKERS, BUILDER.
