Description
Color slide of the family room area of one of the models of the Granada Homes in Mission Viejo, California. The room's fireplace is the focal point of the photograph; it extends from floor to ceiling. Above the red brick that surrounds the opening of the fireplace are long wooden vertical boards that have been stained a dark brown. Mounted on these boards is a large painting of yellow and orange daisies. On both sides of the fireplace are black wrought iron bookcases filled with books and decorative items. The room also includes a chair, rectangular glass coffee table and an ottoman. The shag carpeting is rust colored. The room has a vaulted, beamed ceiling. On the frame of the slide is a label that reads "69-001, Frame 001," in handwritten pencil "D1-#77," printed in red ink "15 Mar69H2."
