Description
The former American Legion post, located at 250 Visitacion Avenue. It was used as a recreation center and also rented out for parties. The building eventually fell into disrepair (notoriously, maggots were known to fall from the ceiling) and was finally demolished in 1979. A new building was built, "Brisbane library and Community Center" and was opened in 1980, serving the community.
