Express building, located at 202 West Center Street (now Lincoln Ave.) on the SW corner of Center and Lemon Streets; built by August Langenberger in 1875; for many years it housed the Dickel Grocery and Hardware store; torn down in August 1925 and SQR store was erected; telephone office was located upstairs; image shows view from intersection, with several figures standing in front of the hardware store; horse-drawn carriage visible near curb at far right; flagpole at corner visible in foreground; signage on buildings reads "H. A. DICKEL / GROCERIES. HARDWARE. PAINTS AND OILS STATIONERY", "STATIONERY, CROCKERY AND TINWARE" and "Wells Fargo & Co's Express".
