Description
A portrait of Lena E. Holland, founder of New Light Senior Citizen's Center at the South Berkeley YMCA. She was a seamstress, and an award-winning quilter. She also produced plays, and was one of the original members of Beth Eden Baptist Church in West Oakland and Mt. Pleasant (now McGee Avenue Baptist Church).
