Description
Mitchell automobile, serving as an auto stage, which replaced the stage coach through Caliente. Automobile is parked in front of the Caliente post office. Driver: Payton Moore; next to driver, Edith Swett, Kern County teacher; rear seat, Bill Wirth and Florenco (Frank) Vega. The automobile belonged to N. P. Peterson.
