Description
The poster features an abstract image of a person playing a saxophone. The person is rendered in red and the saxophone appears in yellow/orange. The background color is black and a red border frames the entire image. The text states, "6th Asian American Jazz Festival, Sumi Tonooka Trio featuring Akira Tana, Michael Formenek, Robbie Kwock Quintet with Melecio Magdaluyo, Ruby Tenio, Scott Stead, Vinco Lateano, May 2, 1987, 8:30 pm, Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, Golden Gate Park, $7 advance-$8 door, tickets at Bass outlets, for information call: 415/668-8921, Presented by the Kearny Street Workshop and sponsored by Asian American Jazz Festival Committee and Asian Art Museum of San Francisco/Asian Communities Outreach Program.
