Description
MOLLER RANCH, c. 1922. Long known for their success in the cattle business, the Mollers not only owned vast herds of cows on their property along Foothill Road, but they also butchered the animals in their own meatpacking plant and sold cuts of beef directly to the people. The elder Moller came around twice a week in a van to his customers. Since few families enjoyed the benefits of refrigeration in homes at this time, they usually cooked the meat on the same day.
