Accession number: P7055 St. Boniface Catholic Church, built in 1879, second building located on Cypress Street between the jail and the pumping plant, on a lot donated by the Anaheim Union Water Co.; replaced the first building constructed in 1870 on the same site; measuring 42 feet by 20 feet, this building was erected in three weeks at a cost of $1,000; image shows group of people, including children dressed for First Holy Communion, in front of the white, clapboard building; two boys are seated horse-drawn cart in the right foreground.
