Description
Daniel Kraemer, the first settler in Placentia, came from Illinois in 1865. He bought 3900 acres which had been part of the Mexican rancho of San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana. He was born December 17, 1816 and he married Magdalena Eleanora Shrag. Their children were Elizabeth, Henry and Barbara, Daniel Jonathan, Samuel, Mary Emma, Edward, Mary and Benjamin.
