Description
A directory of the Liberated Church in America. One of the postscript observations: "When (even with many reservations) we call ourselves Church, we are hit from two sides: by the Movement, which sees Church as part of the enemy; by the Church, which sees no reflection of itself in our grubby activism. To both we say--once again--: Jesus was a grubby activist; he found his companions among dropouts, freaks, poor revolutionaries; and told us to take the same line. Salvation means liberation" (page 63). The last line in the directory, "Serve the Lord, serve the people."
