Crate label for "Tick- Tock" Brand Valencias, Villa Park Orchards Ass'n Inc., Villa Park, California, ca. 1930. Color lithograph illustrated with a red grandfather clock at the far left, and an enlarged blue clock face printed in center of label against black background. Printed with text over blue clock face that reads "TICK- TOCK / BRAND / VALENCIAS / EVERY MINUTE / MORE POPULAR", along the bottom with "THE VILLA PARK ORCHARDS ASS'N INC. / VILLA PARK -- ORANGE COUNTY / CALIFORNIA", in lower right corner "GROWN IN U.S.A." and in border "SCHMIDT LITHO CO. L.A." Villa Park Orchards Association was organized in 1912 and incorporated in 1913. The packing house was located at 10121 S. Santiago Boulevard, Villa Park, California until 1967, when it moved into the former Santiago Orange Growers Association packing house at 350 South Cypress Street, Orange, California.
