View is looking northeast toward the library, probably as the library construction was being completed. The photograph was taken from the corner of 1st Avenue and D Street, Upland (Calif.). Note there is a man working in the parkway near the street, right side of the photograph. The building is located at 123 East D Street, Upland (Calif.). The library was formally opened and dedicated July 26, 1913.
