Description: Recommendations on how to protect the church from "the demonic forces seeking to destroy it." Use of the Ministry of Defense reflects the influence of the Black Panther Party (Huey Newton was the Minister of Defense) dating from York's previous work in the Oakland community and the interrelationships between radicals, the new left, and the Black Panthers. Politically, the Free Church began to be more radical.
