Description
Black-and-white photograph of Cornerstone of Second Mission, 1781. Cornerstone and artifacts blessed by by Padre Junipero Serra on Nov. 19, 1781, and placed in cornerstone of Padre Marguia's Church at the adobe third site of Mission Santa Clara. The items were unearthed by workmen laying gas mains in the middle of Campbell Avenue at curbstone line of Franklin Street, 1911. CN 5x7-8
