Color slide of a simple outdoor carnival booth at the Penny Carnival at Montanoso Recreation Center in Mission Viejo, California in approximately 1971. There is one teenaged girl standing inside the booth and five other girls of various ages standing at or near the booth's table. The girls are all dressed in shorts and short-sleeved tops as if the weather is warm. There is a handmade sign hanging from the top of the booth that reads, "Tickets, 1 [cent sign]." The booth is decorated with colorful paper flowers and streamers. There is a bamboo mat draped over the top of the booth. One of the girls is holding a helium balloon. The frame of the slide has a label that reads, "76-024, Frame 017." Next to the label is handwritten "Penny Carn." Stamped on the frame is "Dec 71H3."
