Description
Located at 637 S. Upas in Escondido, California the Charlotta Hotel was built in 1915 in the Craftsman style, the hotel was owned by Harry J. Schrupp the hotel was named for his daughter. It was later sold to other owners and eventually demolished; an apartment building now stands at the site. On January 7, 1993 the site was designated a Historical Point of Interest.
