Description
Former residence of Dr. Arthur Domann located at 515 East Maple Avenue, Orange, California, 2003. Image shows frontal view of the Mediterranean style, Italianate Revival residence, which was constructed for Dr. Domann in 1923 and features an adobe tile, hip roof with a small arched dormer. The house is constructed in brick and is built on a box plan, with a symmetrical format. The central entry door is sheltered by a wide portico with a shallow arch and decorative brackets. Dr. Domann was a prominent doctor in Orange, and founder of the Orange May Festival. The current owners, the Livingstones, have added decorative fencing, and the house has been excellently maintained.
