Description
Dated 3-7-50 on verso. In addition to a front elevation view of El Miradero, this photograph’s view includes the long driveway leading to the porte cochere, below the tower bedroom, and also a glimpse of the greenhouse to the left. El Miradero was once the home of Leslie C. Brand until his death in 1925 and his wife, Mary Louise Brand, until her death in 1945. Brand deeded his home and property to the City of Glendale to be converted into a public library and park. Title supplied by cataloger.
