Description
Dittmer's Mission Pharmacy float for the Woman's Club Flower Show held in Orange, California on April 18, 1917. The photograph is taken outside the Dittmer family home at 176 South Lemon Street. Arthur Dittmer is standing beside a donkey pulling a cart with "PHARMACY" painted on a cloth frame on the side. On the cart is an approximately eight-foot pharmacist's mortar and pestle entirely covered with flowers and labelled "Dittmer's." Streetcar tracks are visible in foreground.
