Description
Black and white photograph of one of the beaches at Lake Mission Viejo around 1979. The photograph shows people sitting on the sand of the beach and swimming or wading in the lake. Also on the sand are two erected volleyball nets, beach umbrellas, and a lifeguard station. Beyond the sand of the beach is a small landscaped slope, and beyond that is the natural terrain of brush-covered hills. There are several land-moving tractors lined up on those hills in preparation of building O'Neill Road, which later became Olympiad Road. In the right and left margin of the photograph is written "Crop" in red ink. On the back of the photograph is written "Shoot 79% 3x3" and "P20051107.16."
