Bananas from the Island of Ometepe are brought from the small banana boat anchored off shore by the smaller rowboats and sailboats to the shore where they are transferred to trucks and sailboats to the shore where they are transferred to trucks and the railroad which runs a spur down to the pier. Lake Nicaragua is the largest between our Great Lakes and Lake Titicaca in Bolivia, S.A. - about the size of Lake Michigan
