St. Catherine's Orphanage, designed by Gustav Benrend of San Francisco, built in 1889 and located at 215 North Palm Street (now Harbor Blvd.) on the west side of the street; image shows men, women (several holding parasols) and children kneeling and standing before a lattice chapel in St. Dominic's Garden; water pipe next to footed vase on tree stump visible in foreground.
