Description
Black and white photograph of cartoonist Kevin Fagan at the age of 24. Kevin Fagan drew the comic strip Drabble and was a graduate of Mission Viejo High School and resident of Mission Viejo, California. The photograph shows him sitting at a drawing table, holding a fountain pen, and smiling at the camera. On the table are five rectangular sheets with completed cartoons on them. Beneath Kevin's hand is a blank page with empty squares on them. There is also a bottle of ink, a lamp, a container of pencils, a ruler, and a draftsman dusting brush on the table. On the wall above the table is an enlarged illustration of the Drabble comic strip title frame. On the bottom border of the photograph is written "11190." This photograph was published with an article in the Mission Viejo Reporter, vol. 16, no. 7 (July 1981) on pages 2 and 3. The Mission Viejo Reporter was published by the Mission Viejo Company.
