Description: Crate label for "Oxford Superior Quality Valencias", packed by J. McInnes, Orange, California, 1922. The color lithograph label, featuring dark blue background with orange, green red and yellow for lettering and images, is illustrated with a seated student reading a book. A window behind him has a candle and books in front of it, and a building in the background. John McInnes operated his packing house on West Chapman near the Santa Fe railroad tracks in Orange from 1922 through 1925.
