Pioneer House of the Mother Colony formerly at 200 S. West St. (1936). "This house...was built in 1857 by George Hansen, the promoter of that little colony of Germans who founded what is now the city of Anaheim." The house has a small porch and a picket fence. The sign on the building states: Pioneer House of the Mother Colony. This house contains exhibits which chronice the history of Anaheim and is located at 414 N West St. near Sycamore St.
