Front view of the Julia Lathrop Junior High School on 1120 S. Main Street with any of the windows open. It was designed by architect Frederick Eley, the building was declared unsafe for earthquake reasons and demolished in 1970. A new school named for Julia Lathrop was later built on the site. Visible under the window on the left is a sign that reads: Julia Lathrop Branch Santa Ana Public Library.
