Photograph of "Centinela Days" celebration in 1935. Girls sitting on haystacks represent the Inglewood Girls Club. The first Centinela Days was initiated partly to celebrate Inglewood's birthday, but mostly to dispel Depression blues. It was sponsored by the Inglewood Chamber of Commerce.
