Note in the weekly church newsletter, St. John's Call, regarding Richard York as a speaker at St. John's Presbyterian Church, Berkeley. Robert McKenzie, pastor of the church, writes, "In a manner reminiscent of Jesus' admonition, his ministry is providing housing for the homeless, food for the hungry, healing for the sick, and the good news of God's love to the poor."
