Group portrait of baseball player Walter Johnson (pitcher for the Washington Senators from 1907-1927) and former team mates at the exhibition game held on Oct. 31, 1924 at the Brea Bowl (near corner of Brea Blvd. and Birch St.), played for the benefit of the Anaheim Elks Christmas Charity Fund by a group of major league players (including Babe Ruth and the Ruth All-Stars) on a barn-storming tour of the country; image shows 15 men standing at the Brea Bowl with grandstands in background; figures are identified from left to right as 1. Joe Wagner; 2. [...] Canney [?]; 3. Lafayette Lewis; 7. Walter Johnson; 8. Bob Isbell; 9. Joe Burke (manager of the Anaheim Oil Wells team.)
