Description
Newsletter of the Submarine Church, Vol 2 (1), October 31, 1969. Stephen Rose, a young influential editor and author then living in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, founded the organization in 1969 to reform the National Council of Churches and redistribute excess money to the poor. This awakening was planned to take place during the National Council of Churches' Triennial Meeting in Detroit, December 1-4, 1969.
